The Commanderie de Bordeaux – Suisse Romande
The Commanderie de Bordeaux Suisse Romande is an association established under Swiss law, and functions in collaboration, like the other Commanderies (90 in the world), with the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux. As its name indicates, the Commanderie de Bordeaux Suisse Romande exists to promote Bordeaux and Bordeaux wines in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
Our Activities
With over 100 members, the Commanderie organises several events each year, mainly:
- Spring event
- Summer Chapter
- Autumn Chapter
- Gala
These events are organised in different locations in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, always with a high standard of quality and conviviality.
In addition to the members (Commanders) of the Commanderie, guests are also welcome (subject to availability).
The Board
The Commanderie is headed by its Maître, who works with members of the Board elected for renewable periods of 3 years. The Board includes:
- a Vice-Maître
- a Vinothécaire
- a Chambellan
- a Grand Argentier
and other members with specific responsibilities.
The Maître and the Board are elected for a period of three years, renewable.
