Autumn Chapitre 2026 in Gstaad: Discovering Château Smith Haut Lafitte

The Commanderie de Bordeaux Suisse Romande gathered at the prestigious Grand Bellevue in Gstaad for its traditional Autumn Chapitre, a weekend celebrating exceptional wines, fine dining and friendship.
This year’s edition was dedicated to Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a Grand Cru Classé de Graves, in the presence of Florence Cathiard, owner of the estate, and Fabien Teitgen, General Manager. Through fascinating stories and personal insights, our distinguished guests brought the wines to life, sharing their passion for the terroir, the craftsmanship behind each vintage and the distinctive character of this renowned Pessac-Léognan estate. The wine journey also crossed the Atlantic, offering members the opportunity to discover wines from Cathiard Vineyards in Napa Valley, California.
Another highlight of the weekend was the induction of seven new Commandeurs: Alyssa Bernstein, Alexander De Bruin, Nicholas Dudko-Jones, Marina Kleinina, Craig Munn, Xavier Oberson and Eric Sebbagh. We warmly welcome them to the Commanderie!
